eligible to attend California State University or the University of
California (Chart 1 of 5).

- Across the region, only about one-quarter of Latino high school
graduates are UC-CSU eligible, and African American graduates are
only slightly more likely.
- Across the region, nearly 60 percent of Asian / Pacific Islander
high school graduates are UC-CSU eligible, compared with must over
40 percent of Anglo graduates.
- Across the region, American Indian students are relatively few
in number, but about 32 percent of American Indian high school
graduates are UC-CSU eligible.
