Districts and Minority Students

Most districts have significant proportions of minority students.

  • In the Five County Region, very few districts have ≤ 20% minorities.
  • In the 5CR, over 1/3 districts have ≥ 80% of students who are minorities.
  • In Los Angeles County, 1/2 districts have ≥ 80% minorities.
  • Outside of Los Angeles County, 1/3 districts have 60-80% minorities.
  • Thus, there are more districts with high minority enrollment than there are districts with few minorities.
