steadily over the past ten years.
- Most growth is due to increases Outside Los Angeles County and Los
Angeles County.
- Growth in Los Angeles Unified School District has been relatively
modest.
Student enrollment has
increased over 25% in the last decade.

- In the Five County Region, overall enrollment has increased by
over 25%.
- Outside Los Angeles County, enrollment has increased by
approximately 35%.
- In Los Angeles County, enrollment has increased by approximately
20%.
- In Los Angeles Unified School District, enrollment growth has
been modest at a little over 15%.
The number of schools
has increased less than 15% in the last decade.

relation to enrollment growth.
- In the 5CR, overall enrollment increased over 25%; the number of
schools increased under 14%.
- Note that the new schools is likely to be of different sizes and

measure would be intended school capacity.
