  • In the Five County Region, about 36% of students graduating from high school are eligible for admission to University of California or California State University.
  • The proportion is higher in the Los Angeles Unified School District, where more than 42% of graduates are eligible for admission to UC or CSU, although we must interpret this comparison with caution because of LAUSD's higher dropout rate.

Trends in UC-CSU eligibility over time are mixed.
